The Director Dealings tool lists all of the major director dealings that have occurred over a given week or a certain company. It provides details of the company, the director, the date of the trade, the type of transaction (buy or sell), the quantity and price of the shares, and the total sum of the transaction.
Directors buying or selling of shares in their company can often have profound effects on a company's share price. If a director invests heavily in their company, then it could imply confidence in their future performance. If they are selling heavily then it may indicate that the director believes the company has reached a point where achieving additional share price growth will be difficult. After all, nobody knows the company better than the directors...
You can also view all director dealings for any individual company tracked by ShareSense.
